Jachie (Ash), Dec. 07, GNA – Mr Simon Osei Mensah, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has expressed satisfaction with the way people in the region had conducted themselves in the election to choose the political leadership for the next four years, so far.
All had been smooth, peaceful and orderly at the various polling centres across the region.
Mr Osei Mensah, who spoke to the Ghana News Agency (GNA) after casting his ballot at the Jachie D/A polling centre ‘A’, said things had gone on well and that he was hopeful it was going to continue.
There are 82,214 registered voters in the Bosomtwe Constituency.
At the Polling Cenre where the Minister voted, 109 people out of the 621 registered voters had cast their votes, two hours into the exercise.
The atmosphere looked calm and relaxed with political party agents for the NPP, NDC and GUM present to observe the voting.
Mr Kennedy Owusu Baffour, the Presiding Officer, told the GNA that, everything was going on smoothly and did not anticipate any problems.
