Accra, Dec. 9, GNA – Information Minister Kojo Oppong Nkrumah has entreated the New Patriotic Party (NPP) supporters to be moderate and sensitive to public order and safety when jubilating.
In a social media post, Mr Oppong Nkrumah said: “Dear NPP supporters, when you win an election, you don’t need to be aggressive.
“Be of good character and wait for the Electoral Commission to declare and when you jubilate, be moderate and sensitive to public order and safety,” he said.
Mr Oppong Nkrumah also refuted the assertion that the Ministry of National Security had issued a panic alert.
“Ignore the fake news making rounds on social media,” the Minister said.
Mr Oppong Nkrumah said, ” Ghana will win and move on to make herself greater and stronger”.
