Accra, Dec. 6, GNA – The Great Consolidated Popular Party (GCPP) has rounded up its campaign in the Volta Regional capital, Ho, with a promise to carry out its Domestication Agenda to the next level.
Dr Henry Herbert Lartey, the Presidential Candidate, said domestication was the surest way to Ghana’s development, adding; “We need to produce what we consume in the country.”
“We need to produce and buy our goods to ensure that we develop the economy locally, instead of relying on others for our consumption.”
He said he was confident that the GCPP would emerge victorious on December 7 because it had the right plans for the country’s development.
Dr Lartey urged Ghanaians to vote massively for the GCPP so it could develop the country by supporting indigenous industries to expand and produce to ensure food security.
The GCPP’s focus was on two areas; Agriculture and Solar Energy, he said, adding: “We need to eat what we grow and grow what we eat and also produce energy from natural sources for our local use as well as export to other countries.”
He called for peace before, during and after the election for the common good of the country.
This is the third time Dr Lartey is running on the ticket of the Party in an election.
